Job Description

The Breakfast Server is responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences for guests during breakfast service. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a clean and inviting atmosphere in the breakfast area. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Key Responsibilities: Guest Interaction: Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor. Provide menu information and answer any questions about food and beverage offerings. Take orders accurately and efficiently. Service Delivery: Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets hotel standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and address any concerns promptly. Room and Table Preparation: Set up the breakfast area before service begins, including table settings and buffet displays. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations. Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Collaborate with other team members to enhance the guest experience and ensure smooth operations. Inventory Management: Assist in managing breakfast supplies, including food items and utensils, ensuring adequate stock. Report any shortages or equipment issues to management. Health and Safety Compliance: Follow all safety, health, and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe dining environment. Adhere to the hotel's policies and procedures. Qualifications: Previous experience in food service, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting. Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused attitude. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices. Flexibility to work early mornings and weekends as required. Desired Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Menu knowledge and ability to recommend items to guests.
