About the Role

The Company is in search of a Director of IT / CIO to provide strategic leadership and oversight of the firm's IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, and cybersecurity. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader, capable of driving the adoption of modern technologies to enhance legal operations and productivity. Key responsibilities include working with the Technology Committee to champion a comprehensive IT roadmap, managing the performance and security of firmwide systems, leading cross-functional technology initiatives, and ensuring the firm's cybersecurity and compliance practices are up to date. The role also involves budgeting, vendor management, and promoting a culture of continuous learning and digital proficiency. Applicants for the Director of IT / CIO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years' in a leadership role, ideally at the Director, VP, or CIO level. A background in professional services or a law firm is essential, as is a strong working knowledge of Microsoft ecosystems and experience with legal software systems.
