Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Grinder Operator to join their team. As a Grinder Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Surface Grinder Operator

Location: Orchard Park, NY

Pay Range: $20-$23/hour

What's the Job?

• Plan and perform a variety of machine operations utilizing numerical controlled machines, such as surface grinders and saws, to machine plastic or metal work pieces to specifications.
• Interpret complicated drawings, program sheets, instructions, and process sheets to determine work to be done.
• Perform diversified operations on numerical controlled machines while adhering to safety procedures.
• Review setup sheets and specifications to determine the sequence and dimensions of finished work pieces.
• Conduct in-process inspections and gaging operations to ensure maintenance of quality standards and specifications.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with surface grinding machines and related tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other specifications.
• Familiarity with measuring tools and their use.
• Understanding and adherence to safety procedures.
